Haifa

Following our excursions in various places in Israel we decided that the time has come to tour our beautiful home town and to share with our friends some of the sights we managed to come up with.

We walked up to the "Technion" Haifa's Technical University Aeronautics Building

On the way up we passed some pretty Holyoke Plants

Then passed an interesting Composition

We then drove down to the old Technion, now the National Science Museum

Behind the Technion was the old Hadassa hospital, which later became a secretaries college and now a high school

Of course The Bahai Temple and gardens are by now the most prominent landmark of Haifa - here in daylight

And here by night with the rich illumination

The South Haifa Beach (The weather is still slightly wintry)

Every Shabbat there is folkdancing on the beach.

We strolled about the beach until sunset

We drove upe to the Mount Carmel
to catch the sight of Haifa by dusk

We stayed for supper at a Chinese restaurant
overlooking Haifa until nightfall
